    Planet Acts: Water

Water pollution is the contamination of water bodies, usually as a result of human activities. Water bodies include for example lakes, rivers, oceans, aquifers, and groundwater. Water pollution results when contaminants are introduced into the natural environment. Water pollution is the leading worldwide cause of death and disease, e.g. due to water-borne diseases. All acts that help avoid or reduce water pollution or acts that improve water quality, supply, or treatment are linked to this sub-category.

    Forum Description

MEM is a collection project of Master seamstress Paula Malleus. This collection with avant-garde shapes and futuristic lines is upcycled from different surplus materials, mainly post-consumer waste. The main thing of this project has been to create methods and processes on how to create serial producible collections from a variety of materials. Since 2012 MEM has launched 6 individual collections where Paula has either developed or tested different methods.
