An employee who is well is the company’s best asset. For this reason, we at Vastuu Group offer our employees the opportunity to participate in a year-long Lifted online coaching that increases the overall well-being of our employees – both at work and outside of work.

Purpose

We offer our staff Lifted online coaching for the development of self-management and mental resilience. Through the coaching package, we aim to increase the mental and physical well-being of our staff and provide a tool for doing and experiencing together while working remotely. The year-long self-management online coaching is voluntary and the coaching is tailored based on a survey of our staff.

Results

With the help of coaching, we hope to increase the well-being of our employees at work, their ability to manage their work, and more broadly, the well-being of the entire unit. The goal is, among other things, to prevent burnout, overload, and insomnia, and to develop individual resources, stress management, and recovery skills. Personnel surveys, which are conducted before and after coaching, are used as a measure of the success of coaching. In the spring of 2021, our entire staff had the opportunity to participate in the coaching, ie 66 employees, of whom 30 participated in the coaching.

Implementation

The coaching is carried out through lectures and a website with personal IDs. Our employees participating in Lifted coaching participate in a four-lecture lecture package and online coaching. Our employees have access to the Lifted website, which provides access to yoga and other break workouts during the working day. The service has coaching content related to working methods, nutrition, mobility, and sociality, among other things. The topics of the lectures are, for example, resilience and adaptation to change, as well as recovery and stress management. We also do a Firstbeat Life measurement with those who are willing to help our employees find a better balance between doing work and daily rest.

Review

Offering employees training and coaching on how to work on health and well-being can increase team spirit, lower stress and increase quality of life. Following the impact of the training through employee polls allows the company the opportunity to plan further focused support to topics that are of value to the employees. This ensures the program keeps developing. This act is widely scalable to different types of organizations.
