1500 respondents can’t be wrong – solutions are needed to ease loneliness
As a social enterprise, Kaverisovellus wants to share with you interesting observations that we have received from the Kaverisovellus own community and from surveys with various stakeholders during the spring of 2023. We have sent the survey to around 9,000 people through various agencies, and we are grateful that we have received responses from a total of 1,500 people. Through these answers, we have gained a better understanding of how it feels to experience loneliness and what it means that there is someone who want to bring it up in public discussion.
The goal of the friend app Kaverisovellus is to connect people and to increase significant discussion in society about the problem of loneliness and its adverse effects on both individuals and society. Talking about loneliness is still a taboo in our society where all of us is expected to be fine, to which the Kaverisovellus aims to bring about a cultural change.

The friend app Kaverisovellus Premium is designed to meet the challenges of loneliness in workplace. The friend app Kaverisovellus is an approved social enterprise, and we want to equally promote actions to prevent loneliness.
Results
The Kaverisovellus has been scientifically proven to reduce loneliness by connecting people and improves the social well-being of communities by introducing tools to society to prevent and reduce loneliness.
The friend app Kaverisovellus directly reaches around 20,000 individual people who are looking for relief from loneliness using Kaverisovellus mobile application. Together, with the help of our cooperation network, we reach almost 100,000 people to whom we can offer information and help to alleviate loneliness and the opportunity to create new significant human relationships.
We are purposefully increasing the number of users of our service, both with the help of our own activities, but also with the help of our further growing cooperation network. We can monitor the effectiveness of our actions directly through our own and our partners’ databases. The public media attention we receive also helps in evaluating effectiveness.

The Kaverisovellus is an app that can be downloaded from app stores, which allows app users to search for suitable friends and friends based on, for example, shared values. The service has a paid Premium version developed for B2B organizations, municipalities and workplaces, as well as an accessible – free – version designed for basic use.
