Goal
The use of renewable electricity refers to a company that has publicly committed to the use of 100% renewable electricity by a specific year. This Act includes the longer-term target year, current situation as well as shorter-term targets for the coming two years. In addition, the company publicly reports its electricity data and the progress they have made annually. Renewable energy sources include wind energy, solar energy, hydropower, biomass, geothermal energy wave, and tidal energy. To join this Planet Act, a company must get at least 90% of its electricity from renewable energy sources, and commit to actively reaching the full 100%.
